1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Film Room AI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Film Room AI.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Film Room AI. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to belong to users under 13.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not share your account or allow others to access it.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload video content you do not have the right to share (e.g. broadcast footage subject to copyright restrictions).
• Upload content depicting illegal activity or that violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise misuse the service or its AI outputs.
• Use the service for any purpose other than personal hockey development.
• Attempt to circumvent subscription or usage limits.

5. Video content

You retain ownership of video content you upload. By uploading, you grant Film Room AI a limited licence to process the video for the sole purpose of generating coaching feedback for you. We do not use your footage for any other purpose and do not share it with third parties beyond the AI processing service described in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI-generated content

Coaching feedback, analysis, and summaries are generated by AI and are provided for informational and developmental purposes only. They are not a substitute for qualified coaching or professional sports advice. Film Room AI makes no guarantee as to the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI coaching feedback.

7. Payments and subscriptions

• Free accounts include a limited number of analyses as described on the pricing page.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.
• All prices are in USD and are subject to change with reasonable notice.
• Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to their terms.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Film Room AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated coaching will be accurate or suitable for your specific needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Film Room AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
